• Central Bedfordshire College was established in 1961 in Dunstable.
• On 14 January 2010, the college was renamed Central Bedfordshire College – reflecting the College's commitment to Central Bedfordshire as a whole and the ambition to be recognised as the premier post sixteen institution in the area.
• Recognised by Ofsted as a “good college with exemplary features” Central Bedfordshire College has recently invested in the Kingsway Project which has created new public and student facilities at its Dunstable campus.
• Across the region Central Bedfordshire College is seen as the “friendly college” where a more mature environment is appreciated.
• The college makes excellent provision for students with learning difficulties and this reflects the culture of the college which is to find solutions
• Central Bedfordshire College enjoys strong partnerships with The University of Bedfordshire and The University of Northampton.
