Working at Nestots - Nestots Day Nursery
Nestots, an Ofsted-rated ‘GOOD’, 92 place nursery in Ewell, open 50 weeks a year, offering a sensory room, soft play room, childcare’s kitchen, Library, new garden areas and new facilities throughout. We have a loyal and dedicated team, most of whom have been working with us for 12 years on average. This helps the children to get to know and build relationships with all members of staff in the nursery and settle quickly as they progress through the different rooms.
At Nescot we want to help the learner succeed in their ambitions. Our students value our welcoming, friendly and caring atmosphere. Our lively learning community helps to make the most of their learning experience at the College and our range of courses attracts students from the local community, nationally and from overseas. These include Further Education, Higher Education, professional, leisure, short, full and part-time courses.
We pride ourselves in being able to offer courses which meet the educational needs of our students, and in giving them the freedom to develop as an individual. The College offers progression routes at all levels and to our own Higher Education courses in conjunction with a number of Universities including Surrey, Kingston and Kent. We are committed to ensuring that the students achieve their qualification and personal goals in their studies.
Nescot is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening including checks with past employers and enhanced DBS clearance.
Farhana :
"Working as an LSA at Nescot has given me the skills and confidence to not only support young adults with their learning, but has encouraged me to get back in to learning myself. Whilst working at Nescot I was able to study parttime and am now a fully qualified counsellor, and a well-being mentor within the Foundation department. Being an LSA was a great stepping stone for my career, and a role that I thoroughly enjoyed."
Matt:
“Workshops are well resourced and receive investment to update equipment”
Meena:
"I enjoy working at Nestots with the greatest team to deliver the best childcare. Working as part of a team makes me feel like part of a big family with each member working really well together. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my job; supporting the team and building relationships with new and existing parents and children. During the last 14 years I worked at Nestots I have been presented with opportunities to further develop as a practitioner and broaden myself creatively. My favourite aspect about working in preschool at Nestots is seeing the children become resilient, imaginative and creative in their play! Nestots has given me a platform to work as well as make a difference in children's development and learning. I get tremendous job satisfaction in my work with the Nestots family."
